January 5, 2009 - Update on the Broken Reunion Release

441's first album release in more than 20 years is winding up production. Tentatively titled Broken Reunion, the album will present eight songs performed live by 441 at the 2005 Broken Records Reunion Concert as well as two new studio tracks.

The live set captures the emotion of a band reuniting and performing without bandmate Glenn Holland after his cancer diagnosis just a week prior to the event.

Basic tracks for the new songs, Inside Me and Rain Fall Down, were recorded in California by Jason Martin of Starflyer 59 fame. Inside Me is a hard-edged rocker that explores the fear of emotional vulnerability. Rain Fall Down is more in the classic 441 style, driven by Steve Giali's energetic drumming and singer John McNamara smooth and powerful voice.

Tracks scheduled for the release are:

Looking At You (Live)
Jordan (Live)
In The Night (Live)
Break Out (Live)
Fish On The Car (Live)
Mourning Into Dancing (Live)
Is It Enough? (Live)
In His Presence (Live)
Inside Me (new studio track)
Rain Fall Down (new studio track)

The album is slated to be released March 1, 2009 and will be available on iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon MP3 and www.441online.com.
